Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a professional boxing promoter and was formerly one of the most successful and highly decorated boxers of the modern era. Mayweather is also the sporting world’s leading PPV (pay-per-view) attraction - with approximately 24 million purchases totalling $1.6 billion in revenue during his career.

He is the son of Floyd Mayweather Sr. a former contender in the welterweight division who once fought Sugar Ray Leonard, and the nephew of Roger Mayweather, winner of two world championships and Floyd’s longstanding coach.

He made the “shoulder roll” boxing stance about as famous as Mike Tyson’s “peek-a-boo” style, and retired in 2015 after a 19 year career, with a record of 49 wins, with zero losses and zero draws; acquiring 15 major world titles across 5 different weight categories!

In 2017 he returned to the ring to fight Irish UFC star Connor McGregor for a PPV record breaking bout. In 2021 Mayweather was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
